Change and growth...always so freakin' painful. It hurts when we first grow into parenthood and then it hurts when we grow into the empty nest years too!

I had my kids late in life so while I'm 55 my kids are only 10. My heart goes out to you. All we can do in these big life transitions is wade thru them letting the emotions take us where the will as we try to move forward.

Thank you for speaking so eloquently to your feelings. Our son's need to hear our men speak their heart.
